Remind parents to review the course guidebook posted on the website to help their students select courses for next year. Parents should note new courses available in the art and music program. Also remind parents to be careful when dropping students off at school. There have been too many near accidents and student safety is paramount.

Create a sub plan for a 2nd grade lesson on animal habitats. Include an opportunity for students to practice writing. Include that students will arrive from recess at 10:40am and can be excused to lunch at 11:30am. Emergency information is in the red folder on the teacher desk. Be sure to keep Jimmy and Jane from sitting by one another.

Create a unit plan for a grade 11 AP U.S. History unit on the Great Depression. Include a unit summary. Write key learning targets aligned to Advanced Placement content standards. Include an essential driving question, key vocabulary, and summative assessment strategies for the unit. List what students should know and be able to do by the end of the unit.
